Your bargaining committee has completed another week of negotiations with the employer toward the renewal of the collective agreement.
It has been a difficult week. While discussions remain respectful and cordial, the issues on the table — job security, working from home, and wage increases — are of critical importance to you, our members. The union remains committed to securing an agreement that meets your expectations and ensures strong working conditions for the years ahead.
Negotiations will resume this week, with the ongoing goal of reaching a fair, equitable, and sustainable agreement. Your interests remain at the forefront of every decision we make.
The upcoming week should provide a clearer perspective on whether an agreement is within reach, or whether we will need to explore additional options and strategies to achieve that objective.
